After a tight semi-final and a controversial victory against Cameroon, the Palancras Negras of Angola have proved themselves worthy and won their 12th title as African champions at the Afro Basket 2025 held in Luanda, Angola, by defeating the Malians 70-43. This time, they have not only been consecrated African champions, but it was an extraordinary night on the 24th for the Angolan team, and the playmaker Childe Dandao has also been nominated as MVP. What a night for Dandoa, 30pts for him alone.

The 2025 FIBA AfroBasket tournament’s All-Tournament Team features five standout players: Childe Dundao (Angola), who was also named the tournament MVP; Aliou Diarra (Mali); Brancou Badio (Senegal); Mahamane Coulibaly (Mali); and Bruno Fernando (Angola)
